Reflection

.)  I expected to learn a little more about the history and philsophy of art. I also expected to do some hands on exploring about art, and get into the different techniques used in art.  These expectations were all met! I learned a lot of information about art from the videos and the tetbook, and got to experience some hands on activities with the various projects.

.) From my inital posting, I wrote that art was all around and that anything could be art.  I still define that as being art, but with a little more.  Art is a creative process, and includes a variety of principles and elements.  Art catches the viewers eyes, and interests them in a number of ways.

.) I my first posting I did not put in that I had a favorite artist.  From this course I would have to say that my favorite artist is Vincent Van Gogh. I have always admired  The Starry Night, but from discovering more of his pieces like the Wheat Field and Cypress Trees, I was really interested in his use of colors and the ways his artwork draws you right in.

.) I enjoy taking online courses. This was my second online class and I enjoyed it just like I enjoyed my first one.  My inital post discussed the same thing, and I think I will take more online classes in the future.
